              >empathic realms<
is something which belongs to Cancer. If you are able to experience this state-of-mind...more power to you! But Aries Moon only gives an individual an edge of "Instant Karma" in their life. Buy now...PAY now. They are TRUE children...babies...who are learning not to stick their fingers in the fire.

              >sorts of fun and mischief<
Exactly. and that's all they are about....because that's how they get the whopping does of experience which they NEED as "new souls". They are being initiated into the population on a soul-level. In the first 2 years of life, a person learns to walk & talk...and they go through all sorts of boo-boos and mistakes in the process. That is the general level of Moon in Aries...however, they are learning on a subconcious level. It's funny how years later, you show a kids pictures of him as a baby, and he doen't want to believe it was actually him! Ha ha ha! That's Moon in Aries...

hm..... not necessarily. aries moon has a different effect upon the different elements/signs. for example, aries has a "forgiving" aspect to the water signs. water signs ( like scorpio, me. ) are generally more cautious to approach ( scorpio, anyway ) and analyse before diving in...

i have mars, pluto, and sun in scorpio & an aries moon ( cap risiing )

thats all very true about aries being new souls and learning but "learning to behave" or fun and mischeif is not the end all of their experience or what theyre all about. a large part of their karmic lesson is strength, bc believe me aries want nothing more than acceptance or to be listened to but the aries will need to learn how to stand alone when things get stale and no one wants to speak up or believe in themself or anything at all really. aries gets the bad rap and but really theyre only at their worst when theyve got no support and aries learns they gotta go on alot of things alone bc not everybody wants to take risks but do not stand in their way! to hinder their spirit just isnt right and they WILL express this to you so that maybe you may learn to appreciate a little thing called "passion." when an aries is loved, they see to it that everyone is taken care of and happy. theyve got an excitment or natural lust for life that pisses people off, thats a spirit some try to break cuz they dont want to be outshone by the aries and misery loves company. Of course learning experience is not something thats limited to Aries, sometimes the tables are turned and the people around Aries must accept the challenge to become inspired. its the Spirit that exists which sustains all sorts of life, geminis seem keen to appreciate this which is why they get along with aries.

cancers, honestly- half the time they cant do much more other than "care" and even that falls short sometimes. theyre like disabled by the very feature that caused them to care in the first place and theyll just act cold. when they grow up they learn better. every single sign has its karma where they screw things up to later recieve their whooping dose of experience

Using astrology to boost your ego and hit somebody down is not exactly a sign of maturity or ”depth” which you so much like to advertise. There is no such placement or aspect that could tell whether a person is a “new soul” or “old soul”. Not even a whole chart can necessarily tell, there are tons of people born at the same time every day, yet can act so differently. People handle similar energy very differently, Aries is all about spirit, independence, pioneering, courage, surviving. Doing what others don't dare, and in it can be extremely unselfish.

      sun=scorpio/ moon=aries/ rising=pisces

As I understand this triangle, it's like a house: your rising sign is the outside of the house (your automatic reactions and personality in the everyday world), your sun sign is the inside/ main rooms of the house (your basic personality), and your moon sign is the attic/ basement (your instincts, emotions, burning core).

My combination is very tough because it is so emotional. It is also kind of ironic; I really am a more shy, self-effacing, sensitive, dreamy girl in everyday life (it's not an act), but that Pisces outer shell hides the intensely combustible scorpio/ aries combination inside. As a result, people tend to underestimate me, and are shocked when I actually have to draw on my inner resources. I also find that, though my aries emotions are BROILING inside, my scorpio (while making the emotion more intense) forces me to sleep on things and put off expressing myself until I have analyzed what I am going to say in my head. The aries hates this and wants to let it all out NOW. Then the Pises puts a more sensitive and spiritual spin on it all. It is a very difficult, tempestuous inner struggle. Very different from a Gemini with an Aries moon I knew, who'd let out her Aries emotions AS they occured, and then promptly forgot the nasty, horrible things she'd said, and her intense anger. I, on the other hand, took days to respond to anything she'd said, until I had turned it over in my head ten thousand times, and I didn't let go of the anger as easily. Any similar issues, observations?--it seems your sun sign really influences the expression of this fiery sign.

oops, I guess I had mistakenly identified my rising as pisces way back when. I only did that because my PROGRESSED rising is now Pisces. My natal rising will always be Aquarius, though. I like them both.

yes i know what you mean by your interpretations of sun/moon

because i have the same sun/moon ( i have capricorn rising though so im not very shy at all, though reserved at times i guess )

the scorpio part of you wants to analyze things before you say them
but your aries moon is so forward and wants to say the things now!
conflicting, but then i think that it works that way.
good thing we have the scorpio side... i think they're both powerful signs according to the planet they are a part of but they seem to balance each other out... or maybe even complement each other in being really "forward" and "getting what you want"

for me, capricorn only exacerbates that, because cap represented by a goat climbing a hill

Hello all! (this is a new tribe for me.) anyway, Sun in Virgo, Moon in Aries, Scorpio rising. it's a little weird. i think my Virgo (cautious) sun conflicts with my Arien tendencies. but at least the Aries moon helps me release my emotions. the Aries moon is in my 6th (virgo) house.

and of course the Scorpio part of me wants to keep quiet and secretive, at least at first.

but i like having an Aries moon. i'm mainly earth and water, so this gives me some fire. mind you, it conlicts with my partner's libra moon, but he'll live!
    • Re: sun/moon/rising

      Thu, November 23, 2006 - 10:52 PM
Virgo/Aries/Scorpio - a great combination. Virgo gives me that perfectionist streak to do well at whatever I do, Aries gives me the courage and competitive edge (fearlessness), Scorp. gives me the tenacity and intensity that is required to concentrate and focus on what I'm doing. With Virgo in the 12th house, however, Scorp is sort of "the boss" until I get stressed and my moon takes over. Whereas my Scorp would internalise everything and plot revenge, Aries will fight, and argue, and generally stamp her feet and upset everyone until it's all blown over. I do martial arts and boxing, and weight-training to take the "edge" off my temper. I like my moon.

aquarius/aries/pisces...... I don't know why I just had to find the aries moon tribe this morning. I have my mars and moon and chiron all in aries in the first house.

I wear my emotions on my sleeve. Can't hide a damn thing. That's probably my pisces though. I have an explosive temper. But I've only lost it five times that I know of. And always at the same two people. My father and my (ex) husband. Hmmmmm.......

People think I'm sexy but I always feel way less sexy than the people say I am.

I don't have a lot of fear in a physical sense. I travel alone to places people say that I shouldn't. Not afraid of dark city streets. If someone tries to intimidate me, I flex. I'm definitely a protector of friends and especially small women.

What I'm looking for is other aries moon types take on their own moon-ness. And I want to know how things change for us from house to house.

    Peace.

i've had my fair share of outbursts as a kid. Mars and Saturn in libra opposing the moon keeps me in tight check all the time. However, as an adult, any explosive temper can only be allowed to inwardly seeth and implode after intense rationalisation of the anger. I crawl into bed and avoid getting up until I've stewed in the problem/negativity and deconstruct all its ingredients.

Oh but i have fun too...albeit a little too foolhardily sometimes.

          Sun\Sagittarius. Moon\Aries. Rising\Pisces.

I'm artistic, quiet, withdrawn, polite, charming, shy and generally easy-going with everyone I meet (even those I secretly dislike) -- but those closest to me know that when push comes to shove, or time well wasted is having time away from someone (I can be very avoidant and I'd rather I "run away" from my problems than stick around to fix them... but if I can't run away that's when my aries moon will hit the self-destruct button) I... well... have a tendency to unleash my inner demon. Sag wants to gallop away free of emotional restrictions, the shackles of responsibility and the nit-picking of fine details, Pisces wants to lay dormant, have a feel of things while feeding on dreams and staying in limbo, while Aries wants to crash and burn whenever boredom becomes an issue because seriously patience gets you no where and when you want something done, you want it done now.

Nothing quite like the fiery rage of hot-headed Aries clashing with the dolefully dreamy Pisces, soothed over with the classic Sagittarius balm of 'don't fret it, forget it' optimism.

Some say this is one of the BEST sun/moon combinations there is, in serious competition with mighty combos like Gemini sun & Scorpy moon. It is said to often produce CLEVER individuals that are rather SUPERIOR when it comes to Mercury-stuff like reading & writing. Hidden power is probably on the agenda big-time, since both Scorpio (Virgos "father") & Aries is waiting in the wings...

hehheh, sorry, I got that from this site:

          www.novareinna.com/constell...moon.html

As for my daughter, so far, she's actually a very pleasant baby, and the Aries sun/Leo rising combo has so far been a benefit! Give her lots of attention, and she's fine. She doesn't cry a lot, and when she does, you can still get a smile and laugh out of her by just talking to her. This is our 4th child, and definitely the most well-behaved... so far. But when she does get irritated enough to cry hard about something, LOOK OUT!

Anyway, great to see someone with the same combo as my daughter, may just have to bug ya now and then with questions about what to expect from my daughter! :)

but of course... I know how you Aries suns like to talk about yourselves in great detail, we usually don't even have to ask. ;-)

                Really?

                ...hmmm...

I would think that's more of a Taurus sun/ Aries Mercury quality... It would just take them longer to figure it out than everyone else :-) lol

                  hehheh... ouch! ;-)

I can't remember where I read that as being an Aries thing, but I do know one that fits the bill well, and her blog is filled with mundane details of her day to day life. She also displays a lot of the "darkside" Aries traits:

Funny 'cause I know of a guy just like that, but wait... don't people post blogs in their...PROFILE??

                    Hmm.
I never understood why people would post *anything* about themselves in *their* PROFILE. Weird right? Then again, if you're gonna post about yourself where complete strangers can see you should take it all the way there. I'm a firm believer in posting your address, telephone numbers, along with political affiliations and the location of the nearest gun store. Or better yet, blogging about being an outcast amoung outcasts- EMO is all the rage nowadays... :-P

As for the darkside stuff I don't know, but since you have more Aries influence maybe you could share from personal experience. :-) lol

Oh, good choice on using Linux, btw... I'll stop there though, because we don't want to get into the mundane details of day to day life. ZZZzzz... hehe

hehheh, I thought I should have been more clear on that after I posted it.

Yes, I'm quite aware that that's the main point of a blog. This chick just took it to very, very insane levels, that's all.

"nice! how is it having aries moon and scorpio rising with a libra sun?"

You know, my mom is a Libra and my father is an Aries, so ironic! It's a crazy mix, Libra comes out in some ways, i'm void of a lot of the "flighty" traits common in Libra, but i love beauty, posessing it and creating it. My Aries Moon makes me a rebel, i think. I always want to break the rules, and i always go too far, hell, EXTREME is my middle name. Firey, for sure! Scorpio rising, with Pluto in Scorpio on my ascendant, makes me passionate, intense, and dark in ways. Sadistic, possesive... VERY vengeful, and i DO posess a stinger, so watch out! Having Venusian "beauty", Arian "fire" and Scorpion "venom" all in one personality... makes me quite a handful! :)

Oh, and as far as Libra goes, decadence is something i fall into, but NOT a guilty pleasure in the least! As for my Scorp rising, passionate with a capitol "P"! Keeping in mind my Mars in Scorpio, of course.
