Greetings,
I have my natal moon in Aries (10 degrees) on western and is on Pisces on the "Vedic" way.
I have the sudden explosiveness of moon in Aries (i call it the lightning part of me) and the sensitivity of a Pisces moon (im very close to the ocean).
Any others here on the same "boat" ? if so, what could you share about your own experience with this astrological combination?
Thanks

Re: Airies Moon (western) Pisces Moon (Vedic)
Sat, February 7, 2009 - 1:27 PMi have the same things you mentioned
uttara bhadrapada (?) / moon in pisces in vedic astrology and
Aries moon conj mars in western astrology
but the interesting thing is, in western astrology i have a lot of Neptune/12th house influence
using equal house systems, saturn, uranus, neptune ( all conjunct ) fall into my 12th house ( Pisces rules the 12th house ) and Neptune being the natural ruler of Pisces in the 12th house is supposed to add to the heightened sensitivity? and sort of intuition i think. which i have.. like on a subconscious level too. And Pisces rules the 3rd house cusp ( of communication ) in my chart.
So i completely understand the idea that vedic astrology focuses on different aspects of the self ( like the vedic moon sign isn't the same as the western moon sign.. being that its the most important luminary in the chart in vedic, and it must entail different things )
but i see that the same or similar influence spans through both charts, vedic and western

Re: Airies Moon (western) Pisces Moon (Vedic)
Tue, September 15, 2009 - 9:37 AMheyy, my moon is at like 0.1 aries, ive come to understand this is a cusp? i know some people think cusps are crap but i feel like they arent. the way i think is like purely photographic and cloudy, i barely think before i speak, and on top of that overall i dont feel like im purely a ram for a moon. could i just be mistaking my abundance of water as a cancer and scorpio rising for a watery background for a moon? idkkkkk haha but im pretty sure i am so id say im in a similar boat
ps i actually dont know much about vedic astrology, how would i find out what my moon(etc) is for vedic?
