Any one have a particularly memorable moon sign you like to socialize and jive with with.
They all have meaning and purpose in our lives but Ive always enjoyed Sag moons and of course other Aries moons. Aquarian moons have taught me about self control 'cause theyre non-reactive which can cause a reaction! Water moons are a bit sensitive for the fire moon especially if we're in a testy state. But if you have a water sign in your chart this will enable balance and. Another Aries moon will best understand your natural ebb and flow like no other. Hold these friends close. Youll know when you meet another moon native. Honoring each other is honoring self. We are the starters of the cosmos. And the fearless when others crumble.
All experiences are appreciated here feel free to express yourself.
Have a great day.

Re: rawwwwwr
Mon, June 5, 2006 - 2:17 PMNot as astute, huh? What do you make of Scorpio moons? Scorpio is the sign that constantly digs beneath the surface! It's the one that uncovers truth. It's the most psychic and very deep. I'm an Aries sun/Scorpio moon/ Leo rising, btw. The emotions of a water moon are extremely deep more so than any fire sign (giving of energy) or Air (detached from emotions).
My youngest son is a Capricorn sun/Aries moon/Leo rising. He's got a great personality btw, and sense of humor that doesn't quit.

Re: Your Favorite moonsign to jive with...
Thu, April 14, 2005 - 10:21 PMI'm long time with a Leo moon native, it's hot, even after 10 years, sometimes though in the logistics of relationship our firey emotional natures can be a problem.....also Leos are notoriously possesive, and Aries natives really independent. Gemini moon...broke my heart. I had a relationship with another Aries Moon for awhile....didn't work out, but I thought quite seriously a time or 2 that we could have caught the world on fire with our lovemaking

Re: Your Favorite moonsign to jive with...
Sun, August 14, 2005 - 7:56 PMMoon in Pisces is one of my favorites. They're sensitive, true...but full of surprises...like the one time I went too far with teasing a girl and got punched in the solar plexus! Ha ha ha! She didn't have one Aries bone in her body (I cast her horoscope), but she sure packed a wallop.
So PLEASE, Moon-in-Aries. Don't automatically think you are so so SO exclusive and superior, because you are just another one of God's creatures...and also one of the "young" souls: Little Luke Skywalkers in a world of Obi Wans and Yodas who are much wiser than you....except this is REAL LIFE, not a movie. All the nasty things which happen to us are CREATED by us...and you Aries types often seem to be the LAST to figure it out.

Re: Your Favorite moonsign to jive with...
Fri, February 23, 2007 - 3:08 PMWell, sounds like someone has issues with Aries moons, I have to disagree with most of what you wrote. I don't think it is possible to see from astrological chart who is a young soul and who is an old one, especially not from one single placement. That sounds very arrogant and deluded, "oh so I have sun/moon/north node/whatever in this sign and house, oh it must make me such a wonderful person, certainly a lot wiser, better, etc. than those people with that placement. ". Using astrology to feed your own ego is not only dangerous, but misguiding.
I don't consider life to be so simple either, that all the nasty things that happen to us are created by us, I have certainly seen enough people with miserable situations in their life, some so horrible no one would deserve them. You can always try to make most of what you have, but sometimes what you have is not much to begin with. None of us can know what's gonna happen in the future, we can't prepare for accidents or prevent all the unfortunate things from happening, no matter how well we try to live and fight against them. That's reality.

Re: Your Favorite moonsign to jive with...
Sat, August 27, 2005 - 11:54 PMIt's funny you should say this, because the worst tongue-lashings or ass-reamings I ever got were from WaterSigns(also occasionally air signs)...and even physical violence. In my experience, fire signs are full of energy, but they aren't really under pressure in the same way a water sign is. Of course, I have a Scorpio Moon, which is also known for it's icy control on the surface, and the temper flares only in a highly controlled focused detonation after that boiling point is reached. Being both ruled by Mars, Scorpio and Aries make a neat contrast. The modern texts all say Pluto is Scorpio's planet...but I have NEVER met any Scorpio-person who seemed like they were accented by the sign their Pluto was in...only Mars. Scorpio is a very deliberate, calculating sign...whereas Aries is more like a gun which goes off by accident and maybe hits a target and maybe doesn't.
It seems to me that all the Moon in Aries people I know have very sensitive egos; The general reaction to adversity is to display that they have a thick head, rather than any notable cleverness or insight.
One person is a Capricorn Sun, one is a Pisces Sun, another is an Aquarius...which is the extent of the ones I am dealing with right now. In the past I knew a Leo with Moon in Aries, who was admittedly slightly more shrewd than your average Aries Moon. When we argued, she really knew what she was talking about. Leo is a gifted conversationalist and often have excellent reading/writing skills. The Ram seems to think he or she is winning as long as his or her mouth is open...but it's amazing when you play back the dialogue how little they really said which correpsonded to the facts as they happened, if you have the patience to match it all up on a flowchart.
I am not suggesting Aries is stupid sign, because some truly gifted minds have Aries planets...one of my favorites being composer Johann Sebastian Bach. But generally I reserve this claim for Sun in Aries, not Moon in Aries. Sun in Aries I have often Admired greatly. Sometimes they get testy, yes, but I always somehow like them. Moon in Aries is different, though...
Damn! I think I just came up with the perfect analogy for the Moon in Aries personality!!!!
It is like an underwater blowtorch which must CONSTANTLY keep itself going or it gets snuffed out by the water, With the Moon, Aries' confidence is severely threatened by the cool, subtle influence of the Moon. It is NOT where Aries really wants to be, so as usual...they overreact...but in a desperate kind of way.
Scorpio is happy with the Moon in it's sign; It is true that a Scorpio Moon might harbor nasty feelings as is sometimes said of Scorpio...but it is very much at home in the dark Moonlit depths of the subconcious where it can lurk ominously like a shark in the ocean. There is a unique polarity of emotional vs. emotionless with a scorpio moon. I mean, sometimes sharks seem docile one minute, and then suddenly they go nuts when they smell blood. Scorpio is a more primal expression of the Mars-nature than Aries, and more unpredictable.
On to the here & now: I am currently dating an Aries w/Leo Moon...and in spite of the Fire-signs she is quite a sweet, relaxed woman. As a surgical nurse she'd better be. Leo as a moon-sign is nothing like Aries, in spite of the Fire-nature. Perhaps Leo and Aries both have a playful nature, but it seems to me Leo is quite a bit more mature about it. In the past I dated many Leo Suns, and I have found that many of the same traits apply to my Leo Moon girl...but the effect is less acted out in the open. She is like a nice fire inside a warm oven, burning healthily along keeping us cozy and the soup warm. Leo sun is like a damn sunburn, but a Leo Moon's fire just crackles and pops and licks at the chimney. She only flares up if someone REALLY deserves it.
One important point few people seem to study is that a sign is STRONGLY influenced by the sign right behind it. Leo gets that nurturing nature from it's predecessor Cancer. Scorpio's 2 claws translate DIRECTLY into Libra's 2 scales!!! A Scorpio generally knows how to weigh up people and situations, and manipulate events to it's favor...but like the shark can be docile or ferocious...or emotional or unemotional...reasonable or unreasonable...passionate or cold and calculating.
Taurus inherits it's horns from Aries, but is generally more controlled...and achieves OODLES more success this way. In fact Moon in Taurus is supposedly the best placement for the Moon. However, I have met more than just a few Taurus Moons who are so stubborn they almost qualify as retarded! (I still place them ABOVE Moon in Aries on my list because they don't talk so fucking much, and they really do pull the weight in the end better than anybody, and say sine if the most noble words you ever hear a person say.) But Taurus Moon often won't try new things, they won't consider other people's advice and they often need to have things explained in the most simple way or forget it. Heaven help you if have a poetic streak, because Moon in Taurus just can't seem to keep up...and as one MIT I know admits: "We are somewhat slow."
Other than that, a German Uncle of mine with a Gemini Moon is so goddamn cool that I really don't care what his Moon Sign is. He is the only MIG I know. His strong German character gives him so much regal control, and he puts business before pleasure. He doesn't need to brag...and he says he's 53 going on 20...because when he plays...he really like a cool kid and makes me feel the same way. He he! Katzenjammer Kids! ;-) When he doing his work as an Electronics Engineer, he is a professional well-spoken businessman. I guess this shows the dual nature of Gemini at work.
My other favorite is my Grandmother with Moon in Taurus.
My cousin has Moon in Aquarius...and she is prone to blunt, insensitive remarks...and occasioanly she seems to either inflict...or be inflcited BY some sort of violence. I knew another woman like this at a former place of work. Some guy raped here cut her throat, and actually buried her! She still lives today, but I wonder if something about Moon in Aquarius draws violent outbursts from people who already have the potential (like you were saying about them provoking a reaction by not having a reaction). I wonder if the rapist had Moon in Aries.
Well, whatever. Nice to share. Good night. Thanks, you;ve been more helpful than you know. -

Re: Your Favorite moonsign to jive with...
Mon, June 5, 2006 - 10:04 AMI agree that the whole chart has to be taken into consideration, but the moon sign is supposed to be the most indicative of the person's home/ living style, so to speak. The two best roommates I have ever had (and who also became friends) were both Leo moons--one Aquarius sun and the other Capricorn. I am a Scorpio with Aries moon, Aquarius rising. The worst roommates I have ever had (for different reasons) have been: Gemini with Aries moon, Gemini with Capricorn moon, and Virgo with Virgo moon (quite a messy, lackadaisacal Virgo, if you ask me). However, my mother is a Taurus with a Capricorn moon and I lived with her pretty well--aside from constant mother-daughter bickering--and we are very close, so I agree there is more than the moon to take into consideration. There's something about those Leo moons though; they are just astoundingly compatible with me personally. We're looking for another roommate now, and the girl we like is Pisces sun with Libra moon (close to Scorpio by degree and conjunct Pluto). That's a new combo for me, but I can't make decisions based on astrology and search for Leo moons, though I love them!
Melissa, you can't change your chart/ signs because they are glyphs on paper, depending on your birth date. I think you can change the expression of your chart, as each part has such a wide range of expression. It also depends on how much you believe is true--though I've never let myself actually believe it but find it to be true often, about myself and others. It's an art, and the interpretation lies in your own head. -

Re: Your Favorite moonsign to jive with...
Wed, August 31, 2005 - 12:17 PMI carefully analyzed your horoscope, and of course your words are hee for all to see. I see your Aries Moon is actually late in the sign in the Saggittarius Decanate. My Mars is in nearly the same place as you Moon...so I think we can relate a little. However, the Moon is a psyche-influence, and Mars is strictly how we exert physical energy, agression and ambition.
I think Sagg does WONDERS for Aries. I also think Sagg might be one of the best choices for friends and lovers (generally) for you people. What I think the Sagg-influence does for ME is this: In this case, Aries is like an arrow which is deparately trying to hit the mark; The Sagg influence is like the feathers on the tail of the arrow, giving it purpose and direction. I dated a girl who's Mars was also in aries, but about 19 degrees behind mine, in the first most pure decanate. She was as rash and impulsive as you could get, just bouncing off the walls with no control at all. While I have had my moments, I have become quite focused with my Aries energy...and my Moon in Scorpio stings the heels of my internal Ram, too...so little lamby BETTER not screw. Moo hoo hoo hoo haaaaa! >:#
I think the 3 decans of Aries have the following influence.
1st (Aries-Aries) = Reacts with pure force and agression.
2nd (Aries-Leo) = Reacts with force and self-appointed authority. An autocratic nature. Napoleon!
3rd (Aries-Sagg) = Reacts with an intelligent, self-directed effort to accomplish a worthy cause. Sometimes switches goals without thought.
In the last 3rd of Aries, Aries is still very much a Ram, but some of the pure Aries qualities which are very self-defeating are brought under control at last. (Mutts are generally healthier than purebreds!!!!!) -

Fri, April 6, 2007 - 7:46 AMmm, i don't enjoy living with moon in aries but i've only lived with one and that was my dad. we're always arguing and screaming at each other. and i've lived with a moon in scorpio which was my mum and i find she takes thing too seriously. i also hate the way she holds on to things. but i love strength. anyway, for some reason, i always end up having an arguement with her one way or another. loads of silent treatment. -

Mon, December 7, 2009 - 6:15 PMits interesting that so many of you get along well with Leo moons! My bestest best friend growing up was a Gemini Sun/Leo Moon ( Gemini rules my 5th house and leo the 7th... who woulda thunk? ) then now i have a couple best friends, including an aries moon and a leo moon.... who are the closest haha. "Shocking"

Re: Your Favorite moonsign to jive with...
Wed, December 9, 2009 - 9:38 AMre FJ's post wondering if the rapist had moon in aries.
a typical reaction of mine would be to wonder if the culprit was scorpionic. aries do not operate in the dark like scorpios do. haha.
i understand scorpios a lot. it's my rising, after all. i am an aries moon, though, with sun in sag.
i rather like leo moons, too. they are more likeable than my aries moon. but i like aries moons for their raw, yet honest power, fearlessness and courage. understandably, courage, for me, is a thing of beauty. (well, this is my sun speaking, for sags find interest and worth in virtually everything.)
my jupiter in leo makes me very tolerant of leo moon peccadilloes.

Re: Your Favorite moonsign to jive with...
Thu, December 10, 2009 - 7:57 PMSaggy moons for sure. My best friend is a double Sag and she's the best. Gives me tons of space, is adapatable, easy-going, loves doing new things, I could go on and on.. she's awesome :)
I'm sure there would be some compatability w/ Leo mooners if I *really* got to know one.. though they do have the habit of rubbing me the wrong way, it's gotta be my Taurus sun and venus. I have a Leo rising, though. Leo suns don't bother me at all however, we get along great. it's WEIRD, haha.
